    brucey ballykeel loyal sons, ballymena just wanted to say that i thought that castlederg young loyalists were outstanding tonight.
drumming 1st class and variety of tunes was outstanding, wot a forward thinking band and long may they rule.     dg crown defenders cloughmills Castlederg  put on a great performance im lovin the stick lifting now in single time. looks smart as. good to meet TAD before they went on.     cardroy Ballycraigy Sons of Ulster castlederg where best of the night they had a lot of new touches added with the drummin sounded well.....     smeethsdfb STEEPLE DEFENDERS castlederg were superb..the flute solo to absent friends was very well played..neat druming also.     Crowndefender Crown Defenders Mossley Castlederg. Have to say i really like their style of playing.     bsou_minx ballycraigy sons of ulster All bands played very well altho think Castlederg stole the show.     Crowndefender Crown Defenders Mossley First up was South Fermangh. Loving the uniforms 
Drum corp is superb with EBPB style of drumming. Flute corp was strong also 
Next up was Castlederg. I seen them in the bentley not long before.
Knew they would certainly entertain...and they did 
Class wee outfit and a class wee drum corp. One thing that stands out is the wee flute "solos". Think its a nice way to introduce certain tunes 
Last but not least was "Pride Of Kilclunney" which il call them 
Members of POTH and Kilclunney and a few other people forming a wee band to fill the gap. Was a great laugh.Always interesting seeing different styles thrown together  
Well done lads and well done to POTH once again.Brilliant night

With the winner being  CASTLEDERG YOUNG LOYALISTS   Curly UVF REGIMENTAL BAND EAST BELFAST In all the heats of judging the" THE BATTLE OF THE COUNTIES"...
tonights heat ...be it only the 2 bands .... was the most difficult of all....it was a sin to pick one winner....both bands played in their own style to a standard 2nd to none....
As in my written comments....now I know how Simon Cowell feels when stuck with 2 of the best..... with the winner being  CASTLEDERG YOUNG LOYALISTS     brucey ballykeel loyal sons, ballymena  congrats to the derg men, i heard them in the bentley the night before and was completely entertained by them. top notch outfit.      Jimmy D Protestant Boys East Belfast Castlederg were immense for me,no mistakes whatever from what i can recall,very tight unit,.Well done to Castlederg and good luck in the final.     sfl_drummer South Fermanagh LFB Congratulations to Castlederg on getting through. A very solid performance and very enjoyable.     kirsty Omagh Protestant Boys This band have really impressed me this year, their fluting is first klass!!! love absent friends!!!! cyl-goin frm strength to strength       Bigjohnny South Down DUP This wee band have impressed me this year aswell. going brilliant at their annual, i seen them starting of playin armagh brigade and suicide batallion and good sharp fluting. absent friends is a good tune also, heard them playin this in keady and loved the drumcore to it     mike bsoc ballymaconnelly sons of conquerers f.b rasharkin great wee band deserve a lot of credit      andy_bmfb BMFB They went well at there own parade! did any see there bass drummers hands i never seen so much blood!       Goat Pride of Ballinran Great wee band deserve heaps more credit than they get. Came on leaps and bounds this year and definately most travelled band in the country. Keep it up lads!     ballinran albert Pride of Ballinran, Kilkeel, Co. Down Have always had a soft spot for Castlederg Young Loyalists.
Really enjoyed the set they played at their own parade on Saturday night. "Go Man Go" was the icing on the cake. Well done CYL on a fantastic year.
omaghblueman good musically and one of the most loyal and committed bands on the scene. when you consider they are quite small, they would be unable to do a parade if they missed maybe 5 or 6 fluters. just shows how well they have done to do all the parades they do.     stretch513 TAMNAMORE F B brilliant we band!!!!!!!!! deserve alot of credit considering use have alot of travelling to do and their always very consistant!! good to see ur numbers increasing

  Sparky Donaghadee Fusiliers They deserve the credit for going all over the country with a small band, and playing very well! neva really got to see them much this year but when I did I was impressed, like the new uniform's! Castlederg going from strength to strength! 
  Ryan_SOU Shankill Sons of Ulster, Shankill Road Great wee band. Impressed me most at Monkstown parade at the very start of last season where they stood side by side with Portavogie at the end and it didnt annoy them once. Well done lads.   Ulster2 Sons Of William Cookstown Great wee band,i have alot of time and respect for this band  The best small B+T band on the road, keep it up lads yous deserve all the praise yous get      Kyle - DFFB Williamites Loads of respect for this band, with such low numbers, they travel all over the country, very nice uniform too.     pdfb Portadown Defenders FB Wouldn't know where to start to be honest. The new uniforms have put the icing on the cake for the band - the peaked hats make the band look more formal as well. New bannerette is unbelievable. First time I seen it, I think my jaw dropped. The white looks really well on it.
Musical abilities are amazing. One of the best tune list in the country - Go Man Go, Absent Friends, Willie McBride to name a few. After I heard you's play Go Man Go in Armagh I was hooked. Just a catchy and class drum settings to it. No matter what size you's are, you's still seem to impress.     thistle GREENGAIRS THISTLE F.B followed this band for a while at the VOL BRIAN ROBINSON parade (i was the fat f*ck wae the burger ),they were playing 'go man go' cracking wee tune and they played it well enough,colour party looked the part and the bannerette was looking good,first i ha dreally listened to them and was well impressed.     Big Jrw Freeman Memorial FB Castlederg outstanding as usual.     SIMONBSOC BALLYMACONNELLY SONS OF CONQUERORS FB RASHARKIN Castlederg were brilliant if only people could have been a little quieter to listen to some of the solo fluting.     RAY STEEPLE DEFENDERS FB ANTRIM great night last night in the bently big crowd in. Really enjoyed listening to them. Of course Go Man Go got the foot tappin like mad.     Ulster2 Sons Of William Cookstown the band that stood out was Castlederg, they performed an outstanding set which had everything  Their flute solos were amasing, the bass drummer never missed a beat and the overall timing of the band was awesome, this band IS the best small B+T band in the country and if anyone else listened to their performance at the weekend they would agree with me.
